Polymock after Master Hoff?
will there be anymore polymock battles to earn more pieces, or was that the end of it after beating Hoff?

There are more gold pieces, but they're found in dungeons.

Just saw someone trying to sell polymock piece for 100k - seems kinda pointless since there is no one to fight past Hoff. Might pay a couple k for one but that's it.

I got bored a short while ago, so I decided to play a quick game against Hoff. Even though I only have the Pieces that you get from the quests, I beat him with ease.
However, it takes around 5-10 minutes for one fight, and all you get is 50 Asuran Points. So it really isn't worth it to do anymore once you finish the quests.

I was wondering the same..........is this it? A pretty fast dead end for something that probably took a decent amount of dev time.

Yeah, would have been more interesting if you could play actual people. As is, it's just a short bit of fun. And you get the asura summons out of it.

I liked it, but after not being able to beat the ele dude in Gadd's Encampment... screw Polymock. The charr areas are too cool to keep entering the same mission.

You can then challenge the people to tournament rules. One common, one uncommon and one gold piece. They use the same rules. The one I beat gave me a WHOLE TEN ASURA POINTS! So yeah. I can't really see the rewards beyond that worth your time.

when polymock pieces drop in dungeons, do they drop from the Boss chest or regular "normal" chests within the levels themselves?
Wiki states something like : "can drop from dungeon chests" but that just doesn't tell me anything. - someone fix this please.
At 1.5k a lockpick im not going to be opening chests for (crap!) purples hoping to get a Polymock piece and then find out they never would have dropped there anyways.

As suggested, a pvp polymock arena should be added, either random or you can choose to play against a particular player. Class or league systems so you can only use the same colour type of pieces or exclude certain ones.

If polymock is to go PVP in the future? I could see a rating system like hero battles.

I bet it really does suck, being a wammo and not being able to simply hit things.

Actually, it does suck. One strategy wins all matches. More boring than playing a wammo and hitting things.

The whole chess analogy Anet used fell flat on it's face.
It could've been so much better.
